Hello! I am Manon, a young Dutch paper artist and illustrator living and working in Helsingborg, Sweden.

My inspiration comes from various subjects, the unknown side of a story to everyday situations, but the main material is always paper.

During my study illustration at the art academy in Breda, The Netherlands (AKV St. Joost) I discovered my passion for paper illustrations and pop-up. I like to amaze people with the magical possibilities of paper.

My style is clean, often with plenty of white, resulting in a lot of overview in my illustrations. From hand cut cards to unfoldable books, anything is possible and I like to make it all happen.

Hallo! Ik ben Manon, een jonge Nederlandse paper artist en illustratrice wonend en werkend in Helsingborg, Zweden.

Mijn inspiratie komt voort uit verschillende onderwerpen, de onbekende kant van een verhaal of een alledaagse situatie, maar het materiaal is altijd papier.

Tijdens mijn studie illustratie aan de kunstacademie in Breda (AKV St. Joost) ontdekte ik mijn passie voor papier illustraties en pop-up. Ik verwonder mensen graag met de magische mogelijkheden van papier.

Mijn stijl is ‘clean’, vaak met veel wit, dat resulteert in heldere illustraties. Van hand-gesneden kaarten tot uitvouwbare boeken, alles is mogelijk en ik maak het graag waar.
